DLA-NZ500
The 2,000-lumen entry point into JVC's native-4K laser D-ILA family, with 40,000:1 native contrast and a compact 80 mm motorised lens.
JVC remains a contrast-first reference for dedicated dark rooms, with native 4K D-ILA, laser illumination and strong HDR processing.

NZ700 is the compact entry point into JVC’s current premium native-4K laser range. Its appeal is the familiar JVC combination of strong native contrast and dedicated-cinema HDR processing in a smaller chassis.

NZ800 is the middle model in JVC’s current premium range, combining 2,700 lumens, 100,000:1 native contrast and second-generation 8K/e-shiftX.

NZ900 is JVC’s flagship dedicated home-cinema projector, built around exceptionally high native contrast, a 100 mm all-glass lens and 3,300-lumen BLU-Escent laser output.
JVC's D-ILA architecture is particularly relevant in genuinely dark dedicated cinemas, where black level, low-APL image behaviour and subtle shadow detail can matter more than headline brightness.
NZ500, NZ700, NZ800 and NZ900 are not simply three brightness points. Moving up the range also changes optics, native contrast capability, processing and the scale of room each model can comfortably serve.
A high-contrast projector cannot overcome a highly reflective room. Dark surfaces around the screen, controlled stray light and an appropriate screen remain essential if the projector is expected to deliver its best performance.
