WHY IT EXISTS
For dark rooms and moderate screen sizes, native contrast can matter more than raw lumen output.
NZ700 is the compact entry point into JVC’s current premium native-4K laser range. Its appeal is the familiar JVC combination of strong native contrast and dedicated-cinema HDR processing in a smaller chassis.
At this level, the projector is one component of a complete optical system: screen, lens, throw, room surfaces, processing, cooling and calibration all matter.
Our role is to interpret the specification in the context of the room rather than treat a single headline number as the answer.

Moderate screen widths
The final choice should be tested against the actual screen size, throw distance, room finish, target luminance and signal-processing strategy rather than relying on one specification in isolation.

The 1.6× motorised lens covers approximately 1.34–2.14:1, with ±70% vertical and ±28% horizontal shift. Check the narrower throw window early in the room design.
