WHY IT EXISTS
A cinema projector scaled for the home, rather than a home projector stretched toward cinema.
Freya combines native-4K three-chip DLP with RGB-laser illumination and Barco’s cinema processing architecture. The result is a platform designed around image uniformity, colour volume and the optical discipline expected of a true private cinema.
At this level, the projector is only one part of the result. Lens choice, screen material, throw position, room reflectivity, cooling, processing and calibration all need to be specified as one projection system.

Freya supports Very High Contrast Type B lenses from about 1.58–4.76:1 and Type C options from about 1.09–1.74:1. The correct lens holder and lens family must be selected with the chassis.
