Very large reference cinemas
Specified against screen size, room reflectivity, throw and target luminance.
Freya+ takes Barco’s native-4K, three-chip DLP RGB-laser Cinema at Home architecture to 13,500 lumens, adding the output reserve required for genuinely large private-cinema screens.
Reference residential
Freya+ is the point where Barco’s Cinema at Home platform moves decisively into large-format residential projection. The additional light can support wider acoustically transparent screens, higher HDR luminance targets and more operating headroom without abandoning three-chip DLP or RGB laser.
That extra capability only matters when the room can use it. Screen area, gain, lens transmission, projector location, ventilation and calibration should all be established before the projector is ordered.

Very High Contrast Type B lenses cover roughly 1.58–4.76:1, while Type C lenses cover approximately 1.09–1.74:1. The lens holder, projector location and airflow plan should be coordinated together.
